With an opening that includes a stripped-down piano riff, finger snaps, and a thumping back-bass that feels more like a relaxed heartbeat rhythm than a production effect, Flordia Georgia Line kicks off a cross-genre collaboration with Bebe Rexha that is already seeing chart success in the Top 40 world and streaming numbers that prove its popularity. Tyler Hubbard and Rexha co-wrote the song with David Garcia and Joshua Miller, giving it a multi-genre flavor that rests easy on the palette. The easy-flowing, mid-tempo track is all about letting what happens happen and taking things as they come. "Baby, lay on back and relax / Kick your pretty feet up on my dash / No need to go nowhere fast / Let's enjoy right here where we at / Who knows where this road is supposed to lead / We got nothing but time / As long as you're right here next to me / Everything's gonna be alright // If it's meant to be, it'll be, it'll be / Baby, just let it be." This one feels like it's "Meant To Be" another hit for the boys of FGL, and Country's introduction to the powerful vocals Rexha adds.
