  • TAKE THAT IRMA!!

As Hurricane Irma approached Florida, WSTR (STAR 94.1)/Atlanta’s Jeff & Jenn Morning Show called on listeners to come to the aid of a special couple impacted by the monster hurricane. Engaged couple Tori Omstead and Nick Rhodes of Jekyll Island, GA were scheduled to be married over the weekend on the Georgia Coast, when their plans were altered by Hurricane Irma. When their family and wedding guests were forced to evacuate to Atlanta, one of Tori’s bridesmaids reached out to Jeff And Jenn at STAR 94.1 to put the call out to wedding planners, caterers, venues, florists, photographers, DJs and other professionals who responded to save Tori And Nick’s wedding allowing them to share their vows on Sunday (9/10). Jenn Hobby commented, “Our listeners never cease to amaze us ... they said, 'Not this time, Hurricane Irma’ and rose to the occasion in a big way for Tori and Nick. This sweet, loving couple will still get the wedding of their dreams. Atlanta rocks!” Jeff Dauler added, “Take that Irma! There are lots of big hearted people out there and we are grateful to be a part of this amazing city.” (Photo Credit: Sage and Cedar Photography)
