Singer-songwriter Lukas Nelson recently joined Eric Marcum, host of WSM’s All-Americana Route 650 radio program, for a live session at historic RCA Studio B in Nashville. Nelson sat down for an interview and intimate performance, which featured an acoustic cover of “Funny How Time Slips Away” written by his legendary father, Willie Nelson.
Glassnote Entertainment Group artists Jade Bird (Glassnote Records) and Starcrawler (Present Artist Management) were both winners of the 2018 Grulke Prize at SXSW. Bird won for Developing Non-U.S. Act and Starcrawler won for Developing U.S. Act. The award, now in its sixth year, was developed in honor of SXSW’s Creative Director Brent Grulke, who passed away on August 13, 2012. Brent’s love of music and the spirit of the festival is reflected in the three prize categories: Developing U.S. Act, Developing Non U.S. Act and Career Act.
